A Quick History

The current proprietor of Princeton Antiques & Books, Robert "Bob" Ruffolo, is an Atlantic City historian who relocated from North Carolina to Atlantic City in 1974 to join the business with his father Robert Sr. His grandfather and father started Princeton Antiques in 1960 in Princeton, New Jersey. Due to the University expanding the campus they had to close up shop and moved on down to Atlantic City in 1966 and have been in the same location ever since.
Bob started out collecting Atlantic City postcards, and his passion for Atlantic City and its history grew from there.  Over the years, he has purchased large collections of original photographs as well as memorabilia such as ruby glass, dinnerware, books, ephemera and souvenirs.
